Skirt: c/o Sheinside
Boots: Nordstrom
The lovely people from
Sheinside were nice enough to let me pick out something from their site to review. Sheinside has a lot of great, trendy pieces, and they get new things daily, so check back often! I’m really happy with this skirt. It seems to be well made, and I think the high-low hem makes it really unique. All and all, Sheinside seems to be a great brand, and so you should check out
their site!

Two of my favorite things! Wolves are probably my favorite animals, just because I think they are really cool, and I’m currently obsessed with velvet. I’ve been wearing this skirt a lot lately, but I don’t really care. If I really like something I might as well just wear it as much a possible.

Hat: Urban Outfitters
Dress: Vintage

Today, wanted to wear these boots I got at Goodwill, and for some reason they make me think of like a garden fairy or something, so I went with a flower theme. A floral dress and floral printed tights may not be the best combination, but I like it for this outfit. I finished the look off with a braid, which looked really nice when I took these pictures, but was completely falling out by the end of the day.

I love this shirt so much. I have a BP Fashion Board meeting tonight, so I thought I’d wear it today because it’s from Nordstrom. The shirt is super versatile and easy to make outfits with. Also, I could wear it pretty much all year round because it’s light weight, but easy to layer.

It was so hard to go back to school after practically a while week off due to snow and MLK day. The one redeeming quality of this week is that I can wear some of the things I got at Goodwill on Thursday. Today I layered the collared shirt I got under this fuschia sweater, which I got at Value Village in like 8th grade. New clothes can make any day just a little bit more fun!

This is what I wore yesterday for possibly the shortest day of school ever. We had a two hour late start because of the snow and then we got out two hours early because they were scared we were going to get snowed in. Needless to say, we didn’t get much done.
Emmy and I went to
Harris’ house after school. After that, I went home and then
Camille and I went to the gym for a bit. Today I did some home work and now I’m about to try to walk to Camille’s house in the snow.

It’s snowing like crazy here in Seattle! Here are some ideas fro what to wear if it’s snowing or cold where you are living.
Playing in the Snow: If you are going to be sledding, snowball fighting, igloo building etc., then you are going to want to wear something that will keep you warm. A skirt and tights and may look fun and cute, but you will be freezing and not be able to enjoy yourself. I recommend wearing one feature color and then pairing it with basic, neutral pieces. I like how in the outfit on the left the coat is neutral, but still has some texture, and the pants make the outfit cute and unique. A hat or scarf with some personality, like this pom-pom one, adds the perfect finishing touch.
Chilling at Home: Sometimes you just want to say inside, curl up with a mug of hot chocolate, and watch
Mean Girls. If that sounds familiar, then the outfit on the right is the one for you. pair a cute sweatshirt or sweater with leggings and a big, cozy scarf. If it’s cold inside your house, add a pair of ugg boots, slippers or fuzzy socks to keep your feet warm

It snowed!! Well that probably pretty obvious from these pictures.. But I’m really excited about it, because we don’t get much snow here in Seattle. I went sledding yesterday and today with some friends, and we tried to build an igloo, but that didn’t go so well.
