On Friday we didn’t have classes because we were watching seniors present their senior projects, and then it was Folklife. Folklife is a music festival, which is on my school’s campus, so it would really be impossible to have class while it was going on. This is what I wore that day. I got this skirt for my birthday from my grandma, and I really like it. I’d been looking at it online for awhile, but it was just too much money for me to buy it for myself.

My friend Sammy and I went out for Thai food and ice cream tonight. It was really good, and that’s why this post is so late. Her birthday was yesterday, and mine is tomorrow (today’s my last day being 15!!!), so we thought it would be nice to celebrate together today. It’s still cold here, and I was hoping the weather would pick up before my birthday, but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen.

Isn’t this shirt really cool? It’s actually my dad’s, but he let me borrow it. To make it less weirdly oversized, I had to tuck it into high wasted shorts and roll up the sleeves, but I think it looks pretty good.
