Flowers & Gardens

Shirt: Lucky Vintage
Cardigan: Nordstrom
Shorts: Value Village
Flats: Urban Outfitters

This floral shirt is my new obsession! I think I’ve been dressing a bit more girly lately, because I really want it to be spring. On an unrelated not, I don’t know if you guys notice this at all, but the plants that grow out of the crack in the cement in where my fence is have been getting really big. This wouldn’t been a problem except for that they are actually pretty sharp and poke at my legs when I’m trying to take my picture. So, really I just need to do some gardening and pull them out..

Sleepy Rain

Shirt: My Dad
Shorts: Value Village
Boots: Nordstrom

Daylight savings time is the worst. I’ve been so out of it all day today. This is my dad’s old shirt, which is from Bali, and I paired it with my favorite high waisted shorts. I wanted to wear my hair down because I got it cut on Saturday, but it got kind of gross in the rain. Oh well, today is obviously not my day, I hope yours was better!

Faded Patterns

Shirt: Value Village
Shorts: Value Village
Boots: Last Chance

I got this shirt at Value Village’s half off presidents day sale. Patterned button downs are very versatile for me, because i have a lot of bottoms that are just solid colors, and a patterned shirt makes an outfit more interesting. I like that this one has a grundy look, which I think goes well with my high waisted shorts and boots.

Sunflower Fields

Scarf: Goodwill
Shirt: Nordstrom
Belt: Savers
Shorts: Value Village
Tights: Target
Shoes: Zappos

I love this shirt so much. I have a BP Fashion Board meeting tonight, so I thought I’d wear it today because it’s from Nordstrom. The shirt is super versatile and easy to make outfits with. Also, I could wear it pretty much all year round because it’s light weight, but easy to layer.

Fuschia

Shirt: Goodwill
Sweater: Value Village
Shorts: GoodWill
Tights: Harriet Carter
Boots: Nordstrom

It was so hard to go back to school after practically a while week off due to snow and MLK day. The one redeeming quality of this week is that I can wear some of the things I got at Goodwill on Thursday. Today I layered the collared shirt I got under this fuschia sweater, which I got at Value Village in like 8th grade. New clothes can make any day just a little bit more fun!

Live and Learn

Scarf: Jujubes
Sweater: Forever 21
Skirt: Value Village
Tights: Harriet Carter
Flats: Urban Outfitters

This morning I went to a planning meeting for the camp I volunteer at, which was fun, and now I need to do a bunch of homework and other random things. I felt like actually getting dressed instead of just wearing leggings and a sweater, so I wore this patterned skirt. I got it at Value Village awhile ago and then my mom shortened it for me. Now I probably would like it at its original length, but I wasn’t into longer skirts when I got it.

Same, but Different

Scarf: American Eagle
Sweater: H&M
Shorts: Value Village
Tights: Payless
Flats: Zappos.com

Going back to school after two weeks off felt really weird today. It was nice to see friends I hadn’t seen over break, however going to class wasn’t so fun. I’m proud to say I didn’t slip and write “2011” on any of my papers yet, but I know I will soon. Today I’m wearing my fur scarf, which you saw in my last post with a sweater I got at H&M in New York. You can’t really tell in these photos, but it has little gold threads running through it, which I think make it extra special.

Everyday Adventures

Scarf: Jujubes
Shirt: Value Village
Cardigan: GoodWill
Skirt: Forever 21
Tights: Nordstrom

Not the most exciting outfit, but this is what I wore to hang out out with my friend Olivia yesterday. This sweater has been one of my favorite pieces this fall and winter. It wasn’t more than $5 at GoodWill and I wear it many times a week.

Spirited

Shirt: I painted
Cardigan and Shorts: Value Village
Tights: Harriet Carter
Flats: Urban Outfitters

Today is class colors day and the sophomore color is black. We get the easiest one, because most people wear black anyways. The other colors are white, silver and red, so I wore this shirt with silver and red on it just to show school spirit in general. Tomorrow is TV/movie/book character day, and I’m really excited, but sort of nervous for it!

This Again

Sweater: GoodWill
Shorts: Value Village
Tights: Harriet Carter
Boots: Nordstrom

This is what I wore yesterday. My friend and I went to the mall, and I got most of my holiday shopping done. Then, we went back to her house and watched the movie You Again, which wasn’t very good, but was entertaining. I’ve been posting pictures wearing this sweater a lot lately. It’s so comfortable and the big wolf on it makes me very happy.

Red Velvet

Headband: I made
Sweater: Value Village
Skirt: American Apparel, borrowed from EMMY
Tights: Nordstrom
Boots: Forever 21

Isn’t this skirt absolutely amazing? The velvet is so rich and smooth. Also, it’s super versatile. I wish I could say it’s mine, but actually my friend Emmy was kind enough to let me borrow it for the day. You should check out her Tumblr and Lookbook, because she has amazing style.

I’m sad to say, the boots I’m wearing here are falling apart. I got a blister on the bottom of my foot today, because the sole is so worn down, so I don’t think I’m going to wear them anymore. They are a year old and I’ve probably worn them over 100 times, but I’m still disappointed they didn’t last longer. Oh well, what can you expect from $30, Forever 21 shoes. I ordered new boots online, and they are on there way. Hopefully they will work out!

An Addiction

Scarf: Jujubes
Shirt: GoodWill
Shorts: Value Village
Boots: Forever 21

I’m so obsessed with wolves! I wonder what this says about my personality.. This outfit has a lot going on. In hindsight I could have skipped the scarf, but it did keep me very warm. Lately I have had more homework and a lot of other things going on after school, so I have at least two outfits I haven’t gotten to post yet. Maybe this weekend I will have a blogging frenzy and post loads.

Exploring

Shirt: GoodWill
Shorts: Value Village
Belt: Thrift Store
Cardigan: Thrift Store
Tights: Target
Flats: Zappos.com

Today I had a planning meeting for the camp I work at, and it was pretty far from my house, so my friend and I decided to hang out afterwards. We got wraps and Starbucks and then browsed in expensive stores. Then, we went to a park and swung on the swings. It was a really fun day!
