Yesterday after school my friend Maya and I were hanging out, and it was pouring rain. We decided to go see the Hunger Games, because I still hadn’t seen it. The only problem was the theatre was four or five blocks away, and the movie had started five minutes ago. So, we ran through the street in the rain, our feet getting soaked. It was pretty funny! We did end up making the movie before the commercials ended, and I liked it a lot.

This floral shirt is my new obsession! I think I’ve been dressing a bit more girly lately, because I really want it to be spring. On an unrelated not, I don’t know if you guys notice this at all, but the plants that grow out of the crack in the cement in where my fence is have been getting really big. This wouldn’t been a problem except for that they are actually pretty sharp and poke at my legs when I’m trying to take my picture. So, really I just need to do some gardening and pull them out..

Today is nice and sunny and my poetry class went on a cool field trip to the art museum. This blouse makes me feel very proper because of the lace collar. I think the high waisted shorts balance out the girly-ness nicely.

I like the color combination in this outfit a lot. This cardigan is a color that I wouldn’t have thought of as being versatile, but it really is. I left it at a friends house and only recently got it back, but I think you will be seeing a lot more of it this spring.

I almost didn’t take a picture today, because this outfit is kind of boring, but I had time, so I thought I might as well. My top is more flowey and girly, so I thought it would look nice in contrast to the geometric lines of the skirt. Then I just kept the rest simple so it wouldn’t compete with the busy pattern or bold color.

I wore this outfit Friday, but haven’t been feeling well most of the weekend, so I’m just now posting it. Unless I’m much worse tomorrow, I am still going to school. It’s just one of those annoying colds where I’m not really sick enough not to do things, but I just don’t feel good. Anyways, enough about me being sick.. When my friend and I went Black Friday shopping, we decided to just buy each other presents and exchange them right then. This way we’d be sure to get something we liked. She gave me this necklace, and I think it’s really cool. You can’t see it too well in the picture, but I think it looks a lot nicer then something from Forever 21.
